### sec.8AZC Power to require name, address and date of birth
This section applies to a person who is in the authorisation area.
An emergency situation officer may require the person to state the person’s correct name, address and date of birth.
Also, an emergency situation officer may require the person to give evidence of the correctness of the stated name, address and date of birth if, in the circumstances, it would be reasonable to expect the person—
to be in possession of evidence of the correctness of the stated name, address and date of birth; or
to otherwise be able to give the evidence.

(sec.8AZC-ssec.1) This section applies to a person who is in the authorisation area.
(sec.8AZC-ssec.2) An emergency situation officer may require the person to state the person’s correct name, address and date of birth.
(sec.8AZC-ssec.3) Also, an emergency situation officer may require the person to give evidence of the correctness of the stated name, address and date of birth if, in the circumstances, it would be reasonable to expect the person— to be in possession of evidence of the correctness of the stated name, address and date of birth; or to otherwise be able to give the evidence.
- (a) to be in possession of evidence of the correctness of the stated name, address and date of birth; or
- (b) to otherwise be able to give the evidence.
