### sec.47B Use of information obtained under Act Any information obtained under this Act, including, for example, information obtained under an information requirement under part 2 , division 3 may be recorded, retained or used for the purpose of performing any function of the police service. Subsection (1) applies despite any provision of an Act that restricts the recording, retention or use of the information, unless the Act expressly overrides this section.
