### sec.23 CBRE police officers
A CBRE police officer may exercise the following powers—
the detention power;
the property seizure power;
the property destruction power;
the identity power;
the power to give directions under section 31 .
The CBRE police officer may exercise the relevant power only in accordance with this Act, the terms of the authorisation to exercise the power and subject to the directions of the CBRE commander.
Also, if the CBRE police officer is a non-State police officer, the police officer is subject to the directions of a State police officer.

(sec.23-ssec.1) A CBRE police officer may exercise the following powers— the detention power; the property seizure power; the property destruction power; the identity power; the power to give directions under section 31 .
(sec.23-ssec.2) The CBRE police officer may exercise the relevant power only in accordance with this Act, the terms of the authorisation to exercise the power and subject to the directions of the CBRE commander.
(sec.23-ssec.3) Also, if the CBRE police officer is a non-State police officer, the police officer is subject to the directions of a State police officer.
