### sec.86 Confidentiality
This section applies if—
a person performing a function under this Act has access to a public record; and
the disclosure of the public record, or access to information contained in the record, is prohibited or restricted under another Act.
The person must not disclose information contained in the public record, or otherwise give access to the record, other than to the extent authorised under this Act or necessary to perform the function.
(sec.86-ssec.1) This section applies if— a person performing a function under this Act has access to a public record; and the disclosure of the public record, or access to information contained in the record, is prohibited or restricted under another Act.
(sec.86-ssec.2) The person must not disclose information contained in the public record, or otherwise give access to the record, other than to the extent authorised under this Act or necessary to perform the function.
- (a) a person performing a function under this Act has access to a public record; and
- (b) the disclosure of the public record, or access to information contained in the record, is prohibited or restricted under another Act.
