### sec.14 Making and keeping public records
A public authority must ensure its public records are made in a way that accurately shows—
the actions or decisions of the authority; and
the matters that inform or contextualise the actions or decisions of the authority.
The public authority must keep the public records made by the authority.
Subsection (2) does not prevent disposal of the public record under a disposal authorisation.
(sec.14-ssec.1) A public authority must ensure its public records are made in a way that accurately shows— the actions or decisions of the authority; and the matters that inform or contextualise the actions or decisions of the authority.
(sec.14-ssec.2) The public authority must keep the public records made by the authority.
(sec.14-ssec.3) Subsection (2) does not prevent disposal of the public record under a disposal authorisation.
