### sec.390 Power to enter health care facility
This section applies if an authorised person intends to enter a health care facility for monitoring compliance with chapter 4 .
The authorised person may enter the health care facility if the facility is open for carrying on business or otherwise open for entry.
The authorised person must advise the person in charge of the facility about the intended entry at least 24 hours before the entry.
Subsection (3) does not apply if the authorised person reasonably believes immediate entry is necessary to prevent or minimise an imminent risk of infection to a person at the health care facility.
However, an authorised person may not enter a part of the facility where a person is—
undergoing a procedure conducted by a health practitioner; or
consulting a health practitioner.
