### sec.378 Qualifications for appointment The administering executive may appoint a person as an authorised person only if— the administering executive is satisfied the person is qualified for appointment because the person has the necessary expertise or experience; and the person has the competencies, if any, prescribed under a regulation as relevant to the person’s appointment. - (a) the administering executive is satisfied the person is qualified for appointment because the person has the necessary expertise or experience; and - (b) the person has the competencies, if any, prescribed under a regulation as relevant to the person’s appointment.
