### sec.339 Powers
For a declared public health emergency—
an emergency officer has the powers stated in part 6 ; and
an emergency officer (medical) also has the powers stated in part 7 .
An emergency officer is subject to the directions of the chief executive in exercising the powers.
An emergency officer’s powers may be limited—
under a condition of appointment; or
by notice given by the chief executive to the emergency officer.

(sec.339-ssec.1) For a declared public health emergency— an emergency officer has the powers stated in part 6 ; and an emergency officer (medical) also has the powers stated in part 7 .
(sec.339-ssec.2) An emergency officer is subject to the directions of the chief executive in exercising the powers.
(sec.339-ssec.3) An emergency officer’s powers may be limited— under a condition of appointment; or by notice given by the chief executive to the emergency officer.
