### sec.335 Appointment of emergency officers (medical)
The chief executive may by instrument appoint doctors as emergency officers (medical) for declared public health emergencies if they are—
public service officers or public service employees; or
health service employees; or
other persons prescribed under a regulation.
An appointment under subsection (1) may be made before or after the declaration of a public health emergency.

(sec.335-ssec.1) The chief executive may by instrument appoint doctors as emergency officers (medical) for declared public health emergencies if they are— public service officers or public service employees; or health service employees; or other persons prescribed under a regulation.
(sec.335-ssec.2) An appointment under subsection (1) may be made before or after the declaration of a public health emergency.
