### sec.279AJ Disclosure of information for investigation under Coroners Act 2003
This section applies if a coroner is investigating the death of a person.
The chief executive may disclose confidential information that is relevant to the person’s death to—
the coroner; or
a police officer helping the coroner to investigate the person’s death.
The coroner or police officer may disclose the confidential information to another person for the purpose of the investigation.

(sec.279AJ-ssec.1) This section applies if a coroner is investigating the death of a person.
(sec.279AJ-ssec.2) The chief executive may disclose confidential information that is relevant to the person’s death to— the coroner; or a police officer helping the coroner to investigate the person’s death.
(sec.279AJ-ssec.3) The coroner or police officer may disclose the confidential information to another person for the purpose of the investigation.
- (a) the coroner; or
- (b) a police officer helping the coroner to investigate the person’s death.
