### sec.157M Transfer to another treatment or care place
This section applies if—
a person subject to an emergency examination authority is transported to a treatment or care place that is a public sector health service facility; and
a doctor or health practitioner believes it is necessary for the person to be transported to another treatment or care place that is a public sector health service facility.
An authorised person may transport the person under the emergency examination authority to the other treatment or care place.
A person subject to an emergency examination authority may only be detained in a treatment or care place for the examination period, or the examination period as extended under section 157E (4) .

(sec.157M-ssec.1) This section applies if— a person subject to an emergency examination authority is transported to a treatment or care place that is a public sector health service facility; and a doctor or health practitioner believes it is necessary for the person to be transported to another treatment or care place that is a public sector health service facility.
(sec.157M-ssec.2) An authorised person may transport the person under the emergency examination authority to the other treatment or care place.
- (a) a person subject to an emergency examination authority is transported to a treatment or care place that is a public sector health service facility; and
- (b) a doctor or health practitioner believes it is necessary for the person to be transported to another treatment or care place that is a public sector health service facility.
