### sec.131 Service of detention order
As soon as practicable after a detention order is made for a person, an authorised person must—
give the person the subject of the order a copy of the order; and
explain the terms and effect of the order to the person including the effect of section 132 ; and
if the person is not at the place where the person is to be detained, give the person an opportunity to voluntarily accompany the authorised person to the place; and
give the person notice about the right of appeal against the order and how to appeal.
- (a) give the person the subject of the order a copy of the order; and

- (c) if the person is not at the place where the person is to be detained, give the person an opportunity to voluntarily accompany the authorised person to the place; and
- (d) give the person notice about the right of appeal against the order and how to appeal.
