79 Power to require name and address
(1) An authorised officer may require a person to state the person’s name
and address where the officer—
(a) finds a person committing an offence against this Act; or
(b) has reasonable grounds for believing that a person has
committed an offence against this Act.
(2) In exercising a power under subsection (1), an authorised officer
must—
(a) inform the person of the reasons for the requirement; and
(b) as soon as practicable thereafter, record those reasons.
(3) A person is not required to comply with a requirement under
subsection (2) if, on request by the person, the authorised officer does
not produce the officer’s identity card and, unless the authorised
officer is the chief health officer, the officer’s authorisation.
(4) Subject to this section, a person must not, without reasonable excuse,
fail to comply with a requirement under subsection (1).
Maximum penalty (subsection (4)): 5 penalty units.

misleading information (see Criminal Code, pt 3.4).
