### sec.167 Waiving or shortening cooling-off period
A person who proposes to enter into a relevant contract as a buyer may waive the cooling-off period for the relevant contract by giving written notice to the seller of the waiver.
A buyer under a relevant contract may shorten the cooling-off period for the relevant contract by giving written notice to the seller of the shortening.
