If section 151B (1) applies to the real estate salesperson, the chief executive must, in deciding whether to renew or refuse to renew the registration certificate, have regard to whether—
the real estate salesperson has complied with section 151B (1) for each CPD year ending within the term of the salesperson’s current registration certificate; or
the real estate salesperson has not complied with section 151B (1) for each CPD year ending within the term of the salesperson’s current registration certificate but exceptional circumstances apply.
