### sec.128 Chief executive may issue or refuse to issue registration certificate The chief executive may decide to issue or refuse to issue a registration certificate to an applicant. The chief executive may decide to issue a registration certificate to an applicant only if the chief executive is satisfied— the applicant is a suitable person to obtain registration; and the applicant is eligible to obtain registration; and the application is made under section 117 . If the chief executive decides to refuse to issue the registration certificate, the chief executive must give the applicant an information notice about the decision within 14 days after making the decision. If the chief executive decides to refuse the applicant’s application for a registration certificate, the applicant may not make another application for a registration certificate— for 3 months after the day the chief executive gives the applicant the information notice under subsection (3) ; or if the applicant applies to QCAT to review the chief executive’s decision and the decision is confirmed, for 3 months after the day the decision is confirmed.
