### sec.116 Steps involved in obtaining registration
A person who wishes to obtain registration as a real estate salesperson must be a suitable person for registration under division 4 .
The person must apply for registration by—
giving the chief executive an application showing, among other things, the person is eligible to obtain registration; and
paying the prescribed fees.
In deciding the person’s application, the chief executive must have regard, among other things, to—
the person’s suitability for registration as a real estate salesperson; and
the person’s eligibility to hold the registration certificate.
(sec.116-ssec.1) A person who wishes to obtain registration as a real estate salesperson must be a suitable person for registration under division 4 .
(sec.116-ssec.2) The person must apply for registration by— giving the chief executive an application showing, among other things, the person is eligible to obtain registration; and paying the prescribed fees.
(sec.116-ssec.3) In deciding the person’s application, the chief executive must have regard, among other things, to— the person’s suitability for registration as a real estate salesperson; and the person’s eligibility to hold the registration certificate.
