### sec.82 Direction for payment given by seller’s authorised agent sufficient discharge of buyer A written direction given by a seller’s authorised agent to the buyer or the buyer’s authorised agent in relation to the payment of money under a contract for the sale of land is sufficient discharge of the buyer in relation to the payment of the money. In this section— authorised agent means— a legal practitioner; or a manager of a financial institution.
