### sec.45 What is a counterpart for a document A counterpart , for a document, is a copy of the document that includes the entire content of the document. Despite subsection (1) , a counterpart need not include— the signatures of all persons who have signed, or are to sign, the document; or if a seal is, or is to be, fixed to the document—the seal.
