### sec.45 What is a counterpart for a document
A counterpart , for a document, is a copy of the document that includes the entire content of the document.
Despite subsection (1) , a counterpart need not include—
the signatures of all persons who have signed, or are to sign, the document; or
if a seal is, or is to be, fixed to the document—the seal.
(sec.45-ssec.1) A counterpart , for a document, is a copy of the document that includes the entire content of the document.
(sec.45-ssec.2) Despite subsection (1) , a counterpart need not include— the signatures of all persons who have signed, or are to sign, the document; or if a seal is, or is to be, fixed to the document—the seal.
- (a) the signatures of all persons who have signed, or are to sign, the document; or
- (b) if a seal is, or is to be, fixed to the document—the seal.
