### sec.30 Definitions for division In this division— property does not include a future or contingent legal or equitable interest in real or personal property. security interest — means an interest in property by way of security for the payment of a debt or other pecuniary obligation; and in relation to land—includes a mortgage and a lien, whether or not registered under the Land Title Act 1994 . - (a) means an interest in property by way of security for the payment of a debt or other pecuniary obligation; and - (b) in relation to land—includes a mortgage and a lien, whether or not registered under the Land Title Act 1994 .
