### sec.148 Involuntary transmission not breach of lease
This section applies if a term of a lease of land—
prohibits the lessee from transferring the lease; or
grants the lessee a right to transfer the lease with the consent of the lessor.
A transmission of the lease by the lessee does not cause a breach of the term of the lease.
This section applies despite any agreement to the contrary.
(sec.148-ssec.1) This section applies if a term of a lease of land— prohibits the lessee from transferring the lease; or grants the lessee a right to transfer the lease with the consent of the lessor.
(sec.148-ssec.2) A transmission of the lease by the lessee does not cause a breach of the term of the lease.
(sec.148-ssec.3) This section applies despite any agreement to the contrary.

- (b) grants the lessee a right to transfer the lease with the consent of the lessor.
