### sec.148 Involuntary transmission not breach of lease This section applies if a term of a lease of land— prohibits the lessee from transferring the lease; or grants the lessee a right to transfer the lease with the consent of the lessor. A transmission of the lease by the lessee does not cause a breach of the term of the lease. This section applies despite any agreement to the contrary.
