### sec.124 Judgment debt does not permit seizure
This section applies if a court gives judgment to a claimant for the payment of a debt secured by a mortgage over property.
The interest of the mortgagor in the property, or any other property over which the mortgagor has granted a mortgage to the claimant, may not be taken in execution of the judgment.
This section applies despite any agreement to the contrary.
This section does not limit or otherwise affect a power of a mortgagee under section 113 (1) (a) .
In this section—
debt includes a liquidated demand.
(sec.124-ssec.1) This section applies if a court gives judgment to a claimant for the payment of a debt secured by a mortgage over property.
