### sec.23 Applying for restoration
If a person’s registration has expired, the person may, within 2 months after the expiry, apply to the board for restoration of the registration.
The application must be—
in the approved form; and
accompanied by each of the following—
the documents, identified in the approved form, the board reasonably requires to decide the application;
the application fee prescribed under a regulation;
the annual registration fee.
Despite subsection (1) , the board may accept an application for restoration of registration made more than 2 months after the expiry if the board is satisfied it would be reasonable in all the circumstances to accept the application.
The approved form must provide for the inclusion of the applicant’s contact details as a registered professional engineer.
The applicant also must provide any other relevant information reasonably required by the board to decide the application.
