### sec.161 Existing registrations—divisions of engineering
This section applies—
to an individual who, immediately before the commencement, was a registered professional engineer under the repealed Act; and
until the day on which the individual’s registration is first renewed or restored under this Act.
For part 7 of this Act, the division of engineering in which the individual was registered under the repealed Act is taken to be the area of engineering for which the individual is registered under this Act.
(sec.161-ssec.1) This section applies— to an individual who, immediately before the commencement, was a registered professional engineer under the repealed Act; and until the day on which the individual’s registration is first renewed or restored under this Act.
(sec.161-ssec.2) For part 7 of this Act, the division of engineering in which the individual was registered under the repealed Act is taken to be the area of engineering for which the individual is registered under this Act.
- (a) to an individual who, immediately before the commencement, was a registered professional engineer under the repealed Act; and
- (b) until the day on which the individual’s registration is first renewed or restored under this Act.
