### sec.151 First appointment of particular member
For the purpose of the first appointment of a member of the board under section 82(2)(c), the Governor in Council may appoint any person holding office under section 7 of the repealed Act before the commencement.
A person appointed under subsection (1)—
is taken to be properly appointed under section 82; and
holds office until—
the end of 18 months after the commencement; or
if the person, or another person, is earlier elected under section 82(2)(c)—the day the person or other person is elected.
(sec.151-ssec.1) For the purpose of the first appointment of a member of the board under section 82(2)(c), the Governor in Council may appoint any person holding office under section 7 of the repealed Act before the commencement.
(sec.151-ssec.2) A person appointed under subsection (1)— is taken to be properly appointed under section 82; and holds office until— the end of 18 months after the commencement; or if the person, or another person, is earlier elected under section 82(2)(c)—the day the person or other person is elected.
- (a) is taken to be properly appointed under section 82; and
