### sec.53A Termination of civil partnership
This section applies if—
a principal makes an enduring document; and
after making the enduring document, the principal’s civil partnership is terminated under the Civil Partnerships Act 2011 , section 18 .
The enduring document is revoked to the extent it gives power to the principal’s previous civil partner.

(sec.53A-ssec.1) This section applies if— a principal makes an enduring document; and after making the enduring document, the principal’s civil partnership is terminated under the Civil Partnerships Act 2011 , section 18 .
(sec.53A-ssec.2) The enduring document is revoked to the extent it gives power to the principal’s previous civil partner.
- (a) a principal makes an enduring document; and
- (b) after making the enduring document, the principal’s civil partnership is terminated under the Civil Partnerships Act 2011 , section 18 .
