### sec.5AA.9 Commissioner may request information from other authorities
This section applies to a person who—
is engaged by the service; or
seeks to be engaged by the service and has given the commissioner a disclosure for the purposes of division 2 .
Also, this section applies even though the disclosure does not state any relevant information about the person.
The commissioner may ask another law enforcement agency, whether a declared agency, or a law enforcement agency of another country that has an obligation under the law of that country to assess the integrity of persons employed or engaged by the government of that country, to give the commissioner a report that includes relevant information about the person.

(sec.5AA.9-ssec.1) This section applies to a person who— is engaged by the service; or seeks to be engaged by the service and has given the commissioner a disclosure for the purposes of division 2 .
