### sec.5AA.15 Guidelines for dealing with relevant information
The commissioner must make guidelines, consistent with this part, for dealing with relevant information obtained by the commissioner under this part.
The purpose of the guidelines is to ensure—
natural justice is afforded to the persons about whom the information is obtained; and
only relevant information is used in assessing the persons’ suitability to be, or continue to be, engaged by the service; and
decisions about the suitability of persons, based on the information, are made in a consistent way.
The commissioner must give a copy of the guidelines, on request, to a person seeking to be engaged, or engaged, by the service.

(sec.5AA.15-ssec.1) The commissioner must make guidelines, consistent with this part, for dealing with relevant information obtained by the commissioner under this part.
(sec.5AA.15-ssec.2) The purpose of the guidelines is to ensure— natural justice is afforded to the persons about whom the information is obtained; and only relevant information is used in assessing the persons’ suitability to be, or continue to be, engaged by the service; and decisions about the suitability of persons, based on the information, are made in a consistent way.

- (a) natural justice is afforded to the persons about whom the information is obtained; and
- (b) only relevant information is used in assessing the persons’ suitability to be, or continue to be, engaged by the service; and
- (c) decisions about the suitability of persons, based on the information, are made in a consistent way.
