### sec.10.11 Ownership of official property
For the purpose of any legal proceedings—
every police establishment or police station; or
anything (animate or inanimate), which is not the private property of any person, that is appropriated to the use of, or is used by, the police service or any officer or staff member in the capacity as such;
is taken to be the property of the commissioner for the time being, and may be sufficiently described as the property of the commissioner of the police service.
