### sec.845 Transitional provisions for existing CMC surveillance devices
An existing CMC surveillance warrant that was in force immediately before the commencement day continues in force from that day in accordance with its terms as if it were a surveillance device warrant issued under new section 330 to an authorised commission officer.
An existing CMC emergency authorisation that was in force immediately before the commencement day continues in force from that day in accordance with its terms as if it were an emergency authorisation given under new section 343 to an authorised commission officer.
New sections 344 to 348 apply to an authorisation mentioned in subsection (2).
A warrant or emergency authorisation may be issued or given under this Act as in force from the commencement day in relation to a misconduct offence that was committed before the commencement day.

(sec.845-ssec.1) An existing CMC surveillance warrant that was in force immediately before the commencement day continues in force from that day in accordance with its terms as if it were a surveillance device warrant issued under new section 330 to an authorised commission officer.
(sec.845-ssec.2) An existing CMC emergency authorisation that was in force immediately before the commencement day continues in force from that day in accordance with its terms as if it were an emergency authorisation given under new section 343 to an authorised commission officer.
(sec.845-ssec.3) New sections 344 to 348 apply to an authorisation mentioned in subsection (2).
