### sec.789N Police officers may electronically sign documents
This section applies if, in the performance of a police officer’s duty, the officer is required or permitted under this Act or another Act to sign a document.
See also sections 11 and 12 .
The police officer may electronically sign the document using a method approved under section 789M .
Unless the contrary is proved, for this Act and any other Act, a document electronically signed by a police officer under this section is taken to be a document signed by the police officer.

(sec.789N-ssec.1) This section applies if, in the performance of a police officer’s duty, the officer is required or permitted under this Act or another Act to sign a document. See also sections 11 and 12 .
(sec.789N-ssec.2) The police officer may electronically sign the document using a method approved under section 789M .
(sec.789N-ssec.3) Unless the contrary is proved, for this Act and any other Act, a document electronically signed by a police officer under this section is taken to be a document signed by the police officer.
