### sec.762 Advice to owner of date of hearing
As soon as reasonably practicable after a date is set for the hearing of an application for an impounding order or a forfeiture order in relation to a motor vehicle, a police officer must give the person to whom the application relates and each owner of the motor vehicle written notice of the date, time and place of the hearing.
If the person to whom the application relates or the owner is a child and it is reasonably practicable to do so, notice must also be given to the child’s parent or guardian.
