### sec.744 Secrecy
A person who is or was a monitor must not record, use or disclose information obtained under this Act and that came to the person’s knowledge because of the person’s involvement in the administration of this Act.
Maximum penalty—85 penalty units or 1 year’s imprisonment.
Subsection (1) does not apply to a person’s recording, use or disclosure of information in the performance of the person’s functions under this Act.
A person who is or was a monitor is not in any proceeding compellable to disclose information obtained under this Act and that came to the person’s knowledge because of the person’s involvement in the administration of this Act.
