### sec.701 Disposal of seized things at end of proceeding
At the end of a proceeding, a court, in relation to a seized thing, may make any of the following orders—
an order for the return, forfeiture, destruction or disposal of the thing;
an order that the thing be dealt with by way of a proceeding under section 693 or 694 or a forfeiture proceeding;
an order that the police service retain the thing until it is dealt with according to law.
A thing that is forfeited under an order under this Act becomes the property of the State.
