### sec.679 Who must record information in register
The police officer or protective services officer who does an enforcement act must ensure the information required under the responsibilities code to be recorded in the register of enforcement acts is recorded.
However, if 2 or more police officers or protective service officers do the enforcement act, the senior police officer or senior protective services officer involved in doing the act must ensure the information is recorded.
The information must be recorded as soon as reasonably practicable after the act is done or the information becomes available.

(sec.679-ssec.1) The police officer or protective services officer who does an enforcement act must ensure the information required under the responsibilities code to be recorded in the register of enforcement acts is recorded.
