### sec.633A Safeguards for oral directions or requirements—protective services officers
This section applies if a protective services officer gives someone an oral direction or makes an oral requirement under chapter 19 , part 1 , division 2 .
If the person fails to comply with the direction or requirement, a protective services officer must, if practicable, warn the person it is an offence to fail to comply with the direction or requirement, unless the person has a reasonable excuse.
The protective services officer must give the person a further reasonable opportunity to comply with the direction or requirement.

(sec.633A-ssec.1) This section applies if a protective services officer gives someone an oral direction or makes an oral requirement under chapter 19 , part 1 , division 2 .
(sec.633A-ssec.2) If the person fails to comply with the direction or requirement, a protective services officer must, if practicable, warn the person it is an offence to fail to comply with the direction or requirement, unless the person has a reasonable excuse.
