### sec.586 Recovery of costs of seizure etc.
The State may recover as a debt owing to it the reasonable costs incurred by a police officer exercising powers under section 583 .
Subsection (1) does not apply to costs incurred if, because of section 583 (2) (b) (iv) , a police officer impounds a motorbike under chapter 4 .
Chapter 4 , part 6 makes provision about who is liable to pay the costs of removing and keeping a motorbike impounded because of the exercise of powers under this part.
