### sec.530 Unlawful recording of identifying information on QDNA
A person must not knowingly cause identifying information about a person that is obtained from a DNA sample taken from the person under this chapter to be recorded in QDNA after the time the sample to which the information relates is required under section 490 to be destroyed.
Maximum penalty—2 years imprisonment.
In this section—
identifying information , about a person, means information that identifies the person.
