### sec.455 Recording consent
If a police officer gives the explanation under section 454 orally, the giving of the explanation and any consent to perform the forensic procedure must, if reasonably practicable, be electronically recorded.
Unless a forensic procedure consent is electronically recorded under subsection (1) , it must be written and signed by the person giving the consent.
If a child mentioned in section 450 (1) or a person with impaired capacity gives a written forensic procedure consent, it must also be signed by the support person present when the consent is given.
A person giving a written forensic procedure consent may give the consent by signing an approved form for the consent.
