### sec.411I When assistance period may be extended
A magistrate or justice may extend the assistance period for a relevant person if satisfied—
the relevant person has given consent for the assistance period to be extended; and
the extension of the assistance period is reasonably necessary.
An order may extend the assistance period for a reasonable time of not more than 8 hours.
There may be only 1 extension of the assistance period for a police assistance removal order.

(sec.411I-ssec.1) A magistrate or justice may extend the assistance period for a relevant person if satisfied— the relevant person has given consent for the assistance period to be extended; and the extension of the assistance period is reasonably necessary.
(sec.411I-ssec.2) An order may extend the assistance period for a reasonable time of not more than 8 hours.
(sec.411I-ssec.3) There may be only 1 extension of the assistance period for a police assistance removal order.
