### sec.411C Consent of relevant person required
Before applying for a police assistance removal order, a police officer must obtain the written consent of the relevant person.
The police officer must inform the relevant person that the relevant person may seek legal advice before deciding whether to give consent to be removed to the custody of a police officer for the purposes of a police assistance removal order.
The relevant person’s consent must also, if reasonably practicable, be electronically recorded by the police officer.
However, the relevant person may refuse to consent to the electronic recording of the consent.

(sec.411C-ssec.1) Before applying for a police assistance removal order, a police officer must obtain the written consent of the relevant person.
(sec.411C-ssec.2) The police officer must inform the relevant person that the relevant person may seek legal advice before deciding whether to give consent to be removed to the custody of a police officer for the purposes of a police assistance removal order.
