### sec.348E Extension of tracking device authorisation Before a tracking device authorisation ends, a senior officer of the police service may extend the authorisation period for the authorisation, if the officer is satisfied on reasonable grounds of the matters mentioned in section 348A (1) (b) . The authorisation period may be extended more than once, but must not be extended by more than 48 hours each time.
