### sec.270 Keeping documents connected with authorised operations
The chief executive officer of a law enforcement agency must cause to be kept—
each formal application made by a law enforcement officer of the agency; and
each formal authority granted to a law enforcement officer of the agency; and
all written notes made under section 245 (5) ; and
each formal variation application made by a law enforcement officer of the agency; and
each formal variation of authority granted to a law enforcement officer of the agency; and
each notice cancelling an authority granted to a law enforcement officer of the agency; and
all written notes made under section 253 (2) (a) ; and
each report of a principal law enforcement officer of the agency under section 264 or 267 ; and
each recommendation made by the committee in relation to an application for an authority or a variation of an authority.
