### sec.179O Copy of missing person warrant to be given to occupier
If a police officer exercises powers under a missing person warrant at a place that is occupied, the police officer must give the occupier a copy of both of the following as soon as it is reasonably practicable to do so—
the missing person warrant;
a statement, in the approved form, summarising the occupier’s rights and obligations under the missing person warrant.
If the occupier is not present, the police officer must leave the copy of the missing person warrant and the statement in a conspicuous place.
