### sec.149 Offence to interfere with seized animals
This section applies if an animal is seized under this Act.
A person, other than a police officer or a person authorised by a police officer for the purpose, must not—
interfere with the animal; or
enter or be on the place where the animal is being kept; or
move the animal from where it is being kept; or
attempt to do anything mentioned in paragraph (a) , (b) or (c) ; or
have the animal in the person’s possession or under the person’s control.
Maximum penalty—20 penalty units or 6 months imprisonment.
(sec.149-ssec.1) This section applies if an animal is seized under this Act.
(sec.149-ssec.2) A person, other than a police officer or a person authorised by a police officer for the purpose, must not— interfere with the animal; or enter or be on the place where the animal is being kept; or move the animal from where it is being kept; or attempt to do anything mentioned in paragraph (a) , (b) or (c) ; or have the animal in the person’s possession or under the person’s control.
