### sec.132 Power to require information about identity of person in charge of animal
This section applies if a person alleges to a police officer, or a police officer reasonably suspects, a contravention of the Road Use Management Act involving an animal has been committed.
A police officer may require any of the following to give to the police officer information that will identify or help identify the person who was in charge of the animal when the contravention happened—
an owner of the animal;
a person in possession of the animal;
a person who may reasonably be expected to be able to give the information.
Failure to comply with a requirement under this section is an offence against section 791 .

(sec.132-ssec.1) This section applies if a person alleges to a police officer, or a police officer reasonably suspects, a contravention of the Road Use Management Act involving an animal has been committed.
(sec.132-ssec.2) A police officer may require any of the following to give to the police officer information that will identify or help identify the person who was in charge of the animal when the contravention happened— an owner of the animal; a person in possession of the animal; a person who may reasonably be expected to be able to give the information. Failure to comply with a requirement under this section is an offence against section 791 .
