### sec.357 Existing public notice periods continue
This section applies in relation to a former public notice for a provision of this Act if—
before the commencement, the public notice was published for the provision; and
immediately before the commencement, a consultation period for the public notice under the former provision had not ended.
The former provision continues to apply in relation to the former public notice as if the Housing Availability and Affordability (Planning and Other Legislation Amendment) Act 2024 had not been enacted.
In this section—
former , in relation to a provision, means the provision as in force from time to time before the commencement.
former public notice , for a provision of this Act, means a public notice as defined in the former definition of public notice for the provision.

(sec.357-ssec.1) This section applies in relation to a former public notice for a provision of this Act if— before the commencement, the public notice was published for the provision; and immediately before the commencement, a consultation period for the public notice under the former provision had not ended.
(sec.357-ssec.2) The former provision continues to apply in relation to the former public notice as if the Housing Availability and Affordability (Planning and Other Legislation Amendment) Act 2024 had not been enacted.
(sec.357-ssec.3) In this section— former , in relation to a provision, means the provision as in force from time to time before the commencement. former public notice , for a provision of this Act, means a public notice as defined in the former definition of public notice for the provision.
- (a) before the commencement, the public notice was published for the provision; and
- (b) immediately before the commencement, a consultation period for the public notice under the former provision had not ended.
