### sec.315 Master plans
This section applies to a master plan that is in force when the old Act is repealed.
The master plan continues to have effect until the time stated in the old Act, section 907(a) or (b).
The following provisions of this Act apply to the master plan as if the master plan were a local planning instrument—
section 8(4)(a) and (b);
section 36(7)(a);
section 263(1)(a);
section 264.
A provision of this Act that relates to a categorising instrument applies to the master plan as if the master plan were a local categorising instrument.
The following provisions of this Act apply to the master plan as if the master plan were a development approval for the land in the master planning unit—
section 73;
section 89;
section 157(1)(a);
section 164;
section 168(4)(b);
section 263(1)(b).
To the extent of any inconsistency, the master plan applies instead of—
a local planning instrument; or
a condition decided under the repealed LGP&E Act , section 2 .19(3)(a); or
a condition of an approval given under the repealed LGP&E Act , section 4 .4(5).
An agreement about the master plan under the unamended old Act, section 193, is not cancelled just because of the repeal of the old Act.
A certified copy of the master plan is evidence of the content of the master plan.
After the commencement, the master plan may be amended or cancelled as required under the unamended old Act, chapter 4, part 3, divisions 3 and 4.
In this section—
master plan means a master plan under the unamended old Act.
master planning unit means a master planning unit under the unamended old Act.
unamended old Act means the old Act as in force on 21 November 2012.
(sec.315-ssec.1) This section applies to a master plan that is in force when the old Act is repealed.
