### sec.242 Action when proceedings start If a document starting tribunal proceedings is filed with the registrar within the period required under this Act, and is accompanied by the required fee, the chief executive must— establish a tribunal for the proceedings; and appoint 1 of the referees for the tribunal as the tribunal’s chairperson, in the way required under a regulation; and give notice of the establishment of the tribunal to each party to the proceedings. - (a) establish a tribunal for the proceedings; and - (b) appoint 1 of the referees for the tribunal as the tribunal’s chairperson, in the way required under a regulation; and - (c) give notice of the establishment of the tribunal to each party to the proceedings.
