### sec.24 Repealing TLPIs or planning scheme policies
A local government may repeal a TLPI, or planning scheme policy, (the instrument ) by resolution.
However, if the instrument was made by, or at the direction of, the Minister, the local government must get the Minister’s written approval before making the resolution.
As soon as practicable after the local government makes the resolution, the local government must publish a public notice that states—
the name of the local government; and
the name of the instrument being repealed; and
the day when the resolution was made.
The local government must give a copy of the public notice to the chief executive.
